UBLOCK ORIGIN WATERFOX CLASSIC INSTALL
You can actually install it alongside Firefox, as it now creates a separate profile folder. On Waterfox Classic (2021.04.2), uBlock Origin current wont update to the 57+-compatible-marked-versions but those can be manually installed. You do need a 64-bit system though, as it was specifically written for that - there is no 32-bit version, so I only have on one of my three laptops.

It also retains plugin functionality for PDF and DjVu readers - Java Runtime Environment too, although I no longer have that installed. For example HTML filtering can cause blank pages (add p to my filters, go to (reload few times), expected: only 'Example Domain' is visible, actual: blank page on 1 out of 10 reloads. Like all ‘mozilla’ browsers similarly started, you can open the browser with different profiles. As written the script creates a folder named ‘profile’ in the waterfox-classic folder. Start the app by clicking the script named ‘wf’. 14 out of my 15 legacy extensions still work - and almost all of those have no direct or indirect replacement in Firefox. Nano Adblocker (which is a fork of uBlock Origin with some extra tweaks to preconfigure it for use with Nano Defender) actually appears to work well with Waterfox Classic (v56.x)-whatever tweaks were done for better intermeshing with Nano Defender seem to have fixed issues with 1.22. latest WebExtension version of uBlockOrigin (1.24.2 a.t.m.) in Waterfox Classic There are issues. Download, UExtract and copy its contents into your waterfox-classic folder. Try adding one by one or both to My filters: +js (json-prune, playerResponse.adPlacements ayerAds adPlacements playerAds) +js (set, ytInitialPlayerResponse.adPlacements, undefined) Edit: second filter was removed from filter list. Although with some extensions like Decentraleyes you have to revert to previous versions - at least at present there are plans to get some 'pure WE' versions functional in Waterfox. Cookie removal tools which no longer work in Firefox are still available too. It's still based on the pre-Quantum architecture, so (almost) all non-WE legacy extensions still run on it, giving many more options for customisation - I still have Classic Theme Restorer, TabMixPlus, Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar, Hide Caption Titlebar Plus and others whose functionality can only (sometimes) be restored with CSS tweaks in Firefox. V2, can I ask why you are using waterfox and what are its advantages? Thanks.
